Lifecasting is an ancient art that was born when the primitive man discovered the imprint of his foot or hand in mud and he started to reproduce it conscientiously.
Since, the technique and the methods of reproducing the human body through lifecasting became more and more evolved.
Lifecasting is like a three dimensional photography and like photography could be a “snap shut” or an object of art.
The art of Lifecasting declined for a while, but we, the new lifecasting sculptors are revitalizing this art form and trying to bring it to new peaks. We are raising an ode to the beauty of the human body with all its perfections and imperfections.
Lifecasting is a one-of-a-kind art work that is preserving the image of the model’s body for posterity. The sculptural art work captures every detail of the subject. The sculptures can be made as standalone sculpture, wall hangings or table/mantel pieces and made of a large variety of materials and finishes and can be displayed indoors or outdoors (parks, gardens, etc.). The subjects are people like you and your loved-ones, from the young age to old.
